Consignors
We are always interested in quality consignments for upcoming auctions. You are welcome to bring items to the auction house or schedule an appointment with one of our auctioneers at your home. Our auctioneers and appraiser will determine the appropriate auction for your pieces and it is possible that they could be placed in more than one auction.

Items We Accept: We specialize in fine furniture, antiques, and art. We also sell specialized collections or individual pieces of many items including coins, dolls, trains, porcelain, silver, jewelry, etc. Our full-time certified appraiser can research most items and give you a rough estimate of what an item will bring at auction.
Items We Do Not Accept: Household appliances, used furniture, common dishes, toys, tools, old clothing and linens (unless vintage), and outdated electronics. We may reject items if they are not appropriate for our auction house. Harlowe-Powell works hard to sell all your items and get the best price for them. We know from experience that an auction is not always the best place to sell certain items and we will let you know if there is a better option.
Individual Pieces and Estates: We sell individual pieces and entire estates at our auction gallery or at your location.

Consignment Fees: Fees are based on a percentage of the selling price. Items selling for over $101 will be charged a fee of 20%, and the percentage goes up as the price drops (please see our terms & conditions for more details). The only additional charge is for moving items to our gallery. We use professional movers to bring furniture and large quantities of items to the gallery. This charge will be subtracted from your consignor check. If there are a few items to be picked up, we can also bring our truck and pick the items up for you for a fee of $100 per hour.
Paying Consignors: We pay consignors within 30 days of the auction.
