When you bring items to Harlowe-Powell for auction or identification, you may want an appraisal or opinion of value. We have a certified appraiser on staff who will do some abbreviated research on each item and give you an idea of what they might bring at auction. We generally do not do appraisals for insurance or estate tax purposes and we can give you a list of professional appraisers in town if you need a written appraisal for estate, tax, or insurance purposes.

All opinions given will be strictly verbal and are only an estimate of what the items will bring at auction. We cannot guarantee any hammer prices. We also appreciate any research, information, or provenance that you may have about your items.
